Contact the ward office

Ask the ward office where the child’s birth should be registered for its current requirements and office hours.

Take supporting documents

Bring the documents named by the ward, such as the parents’ identification and the birth-related record. Requirements may differ for special circumstances.

Check the certificate

Review names, dates and place details before leaving. Request a correction through the same official channel if anything is wrong.
