Before you book
Check that your passport is valid for the period required by your airline and destination. Review the Nepal Tourism Board’s visitor information and your nearest Nepali mission for entry requirements.
Permits and protected areas
Some trekking routes and conservation areas require permits or registration. Ask the trekking agency, local authority or conservation-area office that covers your route what is required.
Travel responsibly
Carry out waste, respect local customs and use registered guides and accommodation where possible. Weather and trail conditions can change quickly in mountain areas.
