Visiting heritage sites respectfully
Heritage places are often active religious and community spaces. Follow posted instructions and defer to caretakers when rules are not obvious.

Follow site rules
Observe signs about entry, photography, footwear and offerings. Never climb, lean on or mark monuments.
Photograph thoughtfully
Ask before photographing people, ceremonies or restricted areas. Keep walkways clear and do not use flash where it is prohibited.
Leave no trace
Use bins or take waste with you, and report damage to site staff instead of attempting repairs yourself.
