Top Tribhuvan University Officials Resign Amid Political Uncertainty

Kathmandu: In a major development, top officials of Tribhuvan University (TU), Vice Chancellor Deepak Aryal, Rector Khadga KC and Registrar Kedar Prasad Rijal, have resigned from their posts submitting the resignations to the Prime Minister’s Office.
Sources said the resignations were formally sent through staff members and also shared digitally via WhatsApp to the Prime Minister’s secretariat. The decision, they said, was taken in order to enable the new government to function more smoothly.
